FIND THE FLIGHT ROUTE SAFELY
A repeated route tells us more than one wasp indoors.
From a safe distance, stand still in different parts of the garden or outside space for a couple of minutes. Look for repeated traffic in and out of the same opening in a soffit, wall, shed or roofline. Do not approach, block or try to treat the opening yourself.
WASP OR BEE?
The right identification protects both people and pollinators.
Honey bees
Hairier and rounder than a wasp, often with more muted colouring. We do not treat honey bees; a local beekeeping organisation may be able to advise on relocation.

BEFORE AND AFTER THE APPOINTMENT
Know what to do around the treated area.
Close doors and windows near the nest route and avoid the treated area for the period set out in your appointment instructions. City Pest’s planned wasp treatment allows a six-hour avoidance period unless your technician tells you otherwise. Removal of an inactive nest is not normally part of the treatment; we can explain whether leaving it in place is appropriate for your property.
